Louis Vuitton has announced a collaboration, The Icon and the Iconoclasts, with designers including The Estate Of Karl Lagerfeld, Frank Gehry and Christian Louboutin, who are to create bags and suitcases using the LV monogram.

The collection, which also includes pieces from designers Cindy Sherman, Rei Kawakubo and Marc Newson, arrives in stores mid-October to celebrate the brand's 160th anniversary, and is accompanied by an ad campaign, website and commemorative book.
